And recall that the first game takes place mostly in Europe (aside from the Moon, haha). The resistance in America is led by Grace. "it was always Grace's revolution" WHAT!?!? no it wasn't BJ and Fergus/Wyatt were in the war, fighting nazis and killing them until Deathshead came into the mix. She wasn't leading the fight Caroline intended, caroline was leading the fight caroline intended. It makes sense for her to be the the new leader but it should have been handled better and it would have been better if she wasn't being a bitch to every character she met. The kreisau circle was able to take down one of the largest nazi leaders in a matter if weeks. There is no real mention of anything Grace did to help aid the revolution before BJ got her besides her talking to Caroline and such. Sure, maybe grace was also fighting for a revolution, but its really hard to do that when you are locked up at the top of a massive building. Bj woke up and started fighting right away and he was able to actually get shit done. The Kreisau circle was fighting for a revolution ever since nazis won. WHAT!?!? no it wasn't BJ and Fergus/Wyatt were in the war, fighting nazis and killing them until Deathshead came into the mix. Love the idea of her character, truly lousy execution. if she wasn't agro in every second of screen time she has. I also don't have a problem with her ribbing characters. There's a scene missing here that damages her character significantly. if the game actually introduced this as a consensual thing that happened instead of her suddenly running the show. I don't have any problem with her taking charge.
It made the sub, which should be a place of relaxation in to kind of a misery. She then relentlessly picks on specifically the European characters. She storms in to the boat, takes over completely and everyone is seemingly fine with it, and then bullies all of the other characters. As much as I loved the idea of her, the execution is horrible. Taking cues from actresses and characters I love and in a time period that absolutely needs someone like her. When I saw her in the trailer I was completely sold being a big fan of movies like Cleopatra Jones, Coffy, Foxy Brown, etc.
